Singapore and Russia should work together to take advantage of the Asian economic recovery when it happens Russia and Singapore have enjoyed business links for some time,in areas such as research and development and trading .some 25 Russian scientists are already engaged in research collaboration at our agency for science ,technology and research one of them.the another area of collaboration could be in the trading of commodities like bunker fuel.Russia's largest energy firm Loki has already established its regional headquarters here,after being drawn by Singapore's status as a regional fuel trading centre..These partnerships will enable both parties to take on business opportunities in third party economies which already have links to the two states .with the global economy beginning to bottom out,this is a good time for Russian businesses to position themselves for Asia recovery
